A few weeks ago Cat purchased a block of tickets to a hockey game, since the price was right we decided to go and take the baby. I was pretty convinced Roman was going to freak out within the first few minutes of the game, but hey, we had free-ish tickets.

The game was next to a park that Brian and I like, so I packed a quick picnic and we ate before the game. We really enjoyed the picnic, we are having the kind of weather that makes me glad we live in Texas!

We got to the game (did I mention there were matching tee shirts involved?) and managed to get seated next to the section of people who were obvious hockey groupies. They had jerseys, chants that had the word "suck" in them, cow bells, air horns...and just generally looked the part. I was glad we hadn't paid a whole lot for the tickets. Roman's eyes were huge for the first couple minutes, but he eventually settled in. Brian and I are lucky we can bring him along to most places!
